Animex was founded in 2016 by Ariane, a biologist. Since 2018, Andrée has joined Ariane, becoming co-owners. The skills and experience of a biologist and an animal health technician make Animex a company that can offer interesting new services. The team in now made up of a biologist, animal health technicians and experienced technician assistants.
Then, thanks to the knowledge gained, Animex received the offer to take care of the domestic and wild animals of the Verdun borough and a collaboration with the Montreal SPCA. This new opportunity led to the creation of the Animex Refuge, a shelter primarily for cats, managed by volunteers.
